About JPSA
History of JPSA in Excimer and DPSS Laser Micromachining
In the fall of 1995, we opened our applications laboratory to customers and in the spring of 1996 shipped our first laser system. Since then, JPSA has developed countless solutions for customers in the scientific, medical, electronics, computer, automotive and aerospace industries. We have installed hundreds of industrial systems in the US, Europe and Asia.
More recently, JPSA developed the highly regarded IX series of turnkey high-precision industrial laser workstations.
JPSA has expanded each year since incorporation with an annual growth rate greater than 33 percent. Our facility currently houses four main departments:
- A laser applications laboratory and contract manufacturing (job shop) facility
- An industrial laser systems group
- An excimer laser refurbishment facility
- A lab for optical damage testing
JPSA’s team of highly experienced scientists and engineers has over 100 years of combined experience in industrial excimer laser design and applications. Although we consider excimer lasers to be our core competency, we also offer considerable expertise in solid state and CO2 laser technology.
