JPSA IX-100 Compact Laser Micromachining System

Designed for laboratory, research and low-volume use, the affordable IX-100 brings unique state-of-the-art laser photo ablation into the lab. A wide range of materials such as polymers, glass, silicon, ceramics, and so on can be micromachined with holes or complex patterns, with precisions approaching 1µm.

The IX-100 is particularly useful in the development of cutting-edge biomedical or life sciences such as microfluidics or lab-on-a-chip devices.

Custom-designed JPSA motion control software handles all operations, including stages of motion, laser fire mechanism and optional motorized beam delivery components.

The software also operates up to eight motion axes and integrates laser firing with motion by way of linear optical encoder feedback.

Advanced software features include part alignment and an easy-to-use interface for storing and retrieving user-defined processing routines.
