JPSA Microtech™ Camera System

In order to successfully process parts and materials, JPSA workstations are equipped with Microtech™ camera systems. The Microtech™ camera system includes a process viewing camera and a high-magnification inspection camera.

The process viewing camera, an off-axis camera (OXC), provides direct laser process viewing without laser beam interference. The camera lens is mounted at an angle. So that the image on the monitor looks normal, mirrors are used to correct the parallax error that this mounting orientation causes.

The inspection camera (a video microscope) is used for high magnification part inspection or very precise part alignment. The video microscope is zoomable and has an integrated LED illuminator.
